Starting Early

On Saturday January 14th, my 4 year son Jack got to participate in his 1st tournament, the JGAA Itty Bitty Open. This was one of the most exciting moments as a dad to see my son get excited about golfing like daddy does. Every golfer received a set of plastic clubs and a visor. In the bag had a putter, a wedge, and a driver, and 3 balls. The other aspect of the competition was best dressed golfer/caddy combo…so being the competitive guy I am, I went out and tried to find us matching gear. I got pretty close, and just enough to bring home a trophy and tickets to the WM Phoenix Open! There was no actual winner from the golfing, so being able to come home with a trophy made his day, and possibly has him hooked on golf FOREver.
