“The City of Scottsdale began an extensive renovation of TPC Scottsdale – Stadium Course and clubhouse on April 1, 2014. The golf course project, led by architect Tom Weiskopf, included the relocation of four greens, resurfacing of all greens, reshaping and regrassing of all tee complexes, relocation and reshaping of all bunker complexes, replacement of cart paths, and re-landscaping of desert areas. The result is a golf course that’s more aesthetically pleasing to resort guests and strategically more challenging to PGA TOUR players during the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
The clubhouse renovation, under the direction of architect firm Allen & Philp, included additional locker room and meeting space, and interior upgrades to the entire facility. Construction of both the clubhouse and golf course were completed in November 2014, well in advance of the 2015 Waste Management Phoenix Open and the remainder of the golf season for novice golfers and amateurs alike. ” – TPC Scottsdale
